Biography
Yevhen Viktorovych Kazimirov was born in the city of Antratsyt in the Luhansk region. He later moved to the city of Starokostiantyniv in the Khmelnytskyi region. Until 2012, he served in the Armed Forces, holding the position of combat navigator of the Ukrainian aviation and was a reserve pilot. For about 10 years, he worked at "Nova Poshta." In 2021, he received an award as one of the best territorial managers of the partner network. On the first day of the large-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he voluntarily went to the military enlistment office as a reserve officer and flying navigator. He was appointed commander of a reconnaissance platoon. During the war, Yevhen continued to work in the working groups of "Nova Poshta," wrote letters, and gave orders. On March 2, 2022, Yevhen took off a plane on alert during a missile attack threat at the airfield and then went on a combat mission. An aerial battle ensued in the Zhytomyr direction. According to eyewitnesses, Yevhen saved the village of Dovbysh in the Novograd-Volynskyi district of the Zhytomyr region from destruction — he diverted the plane to the forest, where it was likely hit by a missile. Unfortunately, Yevhen did not have time to eject.Burial place
