Yevhen V. Letiuka

Born on July 24, 1998, in the urban-type settlement of Petropavlivka, Stanytsia Luhanska district, Luhansk region. Graduated from specialized school No. 2 in the urban-type settlement of Petropavlivka, Stanytsia Luhanska district. From July 29, 2016, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 109th separate mountain assault battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade of the Operational Command "West" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3892, the village of Krykhivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk city council, Ivano-Frankivsk region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation and the Joint Forces operation in eastern Ukraine. On November 9, 2018, around 21:30, soldier Letyuk was killed by a sniper's bullet at a platoon stronghold near the village of Krymske, Novoaidar district, Luhansk region, during an attempt to rescue the wounded soldier Voroby, who also died. On November 11, 2018, he was buried in the cemetery of the urban-type settlement of Petropavlivka, Stanytsia Luhanska district.
