Biography
Yevhen Viktrovych Riasnyi was born on November 29, 1993, in the village of Mykhailiuky, Luhansk region. After studying at the local school, he enrolled in the Lysychansk Pedagogical College, majoring in Technological Education. During his studies, he became fascinated with the history of Ukraine, particularly the nationalist movement and the figure of Stepan Bandera. Yevhen wrote articles and gave speeches to students on socially important topics. In 2012, he switched to the Ukrainian language for communication. According to his brother's recollections, Yevhen had dreamed of becoming a politician and improving Ukrainian society from an early age. He was active in sports, playing football, from childhood. In 2014, he participated in the events of the Revolution of Dignity on Maidan in Kyiv. In April 2016, he followed his brother Dmytro, who had joined the Azov Regiment a year earlier. He was initially not officially enlisted, but later signed a contract. From the very beginning, he was part of the sniper platoon, holding the position of deputy commander. Yevhen participated in battles on the Svitlodarsk Arc, in the village of Shyrokyne, and the city of Dokuchaievsk. He met the start of the full-scale war in Mariupol. During the battles, he suffered two severe concussions with loss of consciousness, and his comrades dug him out from under the rubble and transported him to the Azovstal plant. On March 31, 2022, he was killed in a helicopter shot down during the evacuation.Burial place
