During the enemy assault, he received a fatal head injury. Yevhen was born in the village of Novoradkivka, Odesa region. At a young age, he lost his younger brother, then his mother passed away, and later his father. The boy was left an orphan. He was raised by his grandmother, who took her grandson to the village of Hankivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk region. There he spent his childhood and youth. Yevhen always had many friends. Even during his school years, he had to start working to earn a living. Later, his grandmother passed away. Yevhen had an aunt and cousins left. He continued to work, taking on any job. In his free time, he helped those who turned to him. He dreamed of starting a family, buying a house, and enjoying life. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Yevhen joined the ranks of the 102nd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the Zaporizhzhia direction. "Yevhen was a kind and sincere person, he did not like conflicting situations, and he was always ready to help. He did not serve conscription service, as he had significant health problems, and despite everything, he stood up to defend our state. He was a very kind and sincere person, with honor and dignity, together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended his country from the enemy. Eternal glory and honor to the Hero of Ukraine!" - said his niece Olha Bohutska. The defender was buried in the village of Hankivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
