Yevhen V. Tsukanov (Dzhek)

Tsukanov Yevhen Vasylovych was born on January 30, 1997, in the urban-type settlement of Markivka in the Luhansk region. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was mobilized and was at the forefront as part of the 81st Separate Airmobile Brigade of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Yevhen Tsukanov held the military position of senior mechanic of the 3rd Airborne Assault Platoon in military unit A1493. He was killed on May 6, 2022, during intense shelling of the village of Malinivka near the town of Hulyaipole in the Zaporizhia region. The farewell ceremony for the fallen serviceman took place on May 10, 2022, near the Assumption Cathedral in the city of Poltava. Yevhen Tsukanov was buried on May 11, 2022, at the Zaturynsky Cemetery in Poltava.
