Yevhenii I. Dushenok (Fizruk)

Junior Sergeant Yevhen Dusheniok (call sign Fizruk) was killed on March 5, 2024, as a result of an attack by an enemy drone in Chasiv Yar, Donetsk region. The defender was 55 years old. Yevhen was born in Chernihiv. He studied at local school No. 14, and then entered the Kulikivka Vocational School, where he mastered the profession of a refrigeration equipment technician. He also received a degree in physical education from the Chernihiv State Pedagogical Institute. He served in the military. In civilian life, he worked as a truck driver. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of senior driver of a machine gun platoon. "He was a very good person, he was always ready to help and never expected gratitude. He lived his life with God in his heart. He was sincere with all the people who were with him," said his acquaintance Hanna. The warrior was buried in the "Yatsevo" cemetery in Chernihiv. Yevhen is survived by his father, son, sister, and brother.
