Biography
Yevgeniy Olegovych Lisovyi was born on November 28, 1989, in the city of Kaharlyk, Kyiv region. With the outbreak of the war in Eastern Ukraine, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) for a year. His next rotation to the ATO zone took place from October 17, 2016, to January 26, 2017. Since July 26, 2016, he served under contract in the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhians. With the onset of the full-scale military invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, he was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and was on the front line. Yevgeniy Lisovyi was killed in the early days of the war, on February 26, 2022. The soldier was buried in Kaharlyk, at the cemetery on Titov Street. For personal courage and selfless actions demonstrated in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as loyalty to the military oath, Yevgeniy Olegovych Lisovyi was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Burial place
