- Yevheniy Loginov (call sign Mulder) was killed on May 5, 2022, during a battle at the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, Donetsk region. The warrior was 27 years old. Yevheniy was born in Brest, Belarus. Since childhood, he lived with his parents in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv. He graduated from the Admiral Makarov National University of Shipbuilding in Mykolaiv. In civilian life, he worked as a rescue sailor at a recreation center. He loved sports, played football, ran, and swam. Later, he decided to try himself in the military and went to serve. Yevheniy was a fighter of the special purpose unit of the National Guard of Ukraine "Azov". He gained combat experience during the ATO/JFO. At the time of the full-scale Russian invasion, he held the position of squad commander. Comrades-in-arms recall that Mulder was always the first to volunteer when volunteers were needed for the performance of difficult combat missions. "My son is a gift from God! Very kind, modest. A brave, decent, sensitive person. He loved Ukraine very much, even though he was born in Belarus. He loved life very much, had many plans, was our support," said his father Oleksandr Loginov. "It was hard to find a kinder and more educated person. He participated in urban battles in Mariupol, never feared the enemy and was always the first volunteer to perform any dangerous tasks. Defending the position - he is the first to raise his hand, volunteers are needed to help the adjacent units - again Mulder wishes. He always rushed into battle and always came out dry from dense fire contacts and duels. But not on May 5th... On that day, a large group of Russian special forces entered the plant. They took several servicemen from adjacent units prisoner, who revealed where our fighters were, told how to enter unnoticed and from which side. First, they threw a grenade under the feet of one of our "Azovs", a battle ensued. Mulder opened fire, exchanged fire with the attackers, but an enemy bullet hit him in the carotid artery... He was not a media hero, no one signed petitions to award him prizes, he did not collect expensive equipment for himself, he did not appear on TV channels. He did not seek shelter behind thick walls and in basements, did not eat canned food and rations in secret. He was brave. He felt the full weight and all the limitations of the real war, urban battles. Boundless respect to you, Mulder," wrote his comrade-in-arms Ruslan. Yevheniy left behind his parents, friends, and comrades-in-arms. Junior Sergeant Yevheniy Loginov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
