Yevhenii P. Tkachuk

Soldier Yevhen Tkachuk was killed on May 15, 2022, while performing his duties in the area of the village of Solodke in the Donetsk region. The defender received fatal injuries during an enemy artillery barrage. The warrior was 38 years old. Yevhen was born and lived in the village of Lukanivka in the Mykolaiv region. He graduated from the village school and immediately began working. He spent his entire life as a farmer, living off his work, as he loved the land. He loved animals, especially horses, and tried to rescue animals in areas of combat during the war. During the full-scale war, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fight the invaders and protect his native lands. He initially served in the 36th Separate Marine Brigade, and then was transferred to the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. "My husband was kind, sensitive, fair, and always ready to help. An example to follow. Such people are one in a million. He was the best father, husband, son, and brother," said Natalia Tkachuk. The military man was buried in his native village. At home, Yevhen was awaited by his wife, daughter, and son.
