Yevhenii V. Veselovskyi

Yevhen Volodymyrovych Veselovskyi was born on April 2, 1993, in the village of Knyazivka, Vysokopillia district, Kherson region. In 2011, he graduated from the Zelenodolsk Professional Lyceum, where he obtained the specialty of "Electrician for servicing substations." In 2012, he decided to dedicate his life to military service. On April 18, 2022, Yevhen Volodymyrovych joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. Since August 4, 2022, he actively participated in combat missions in Eastern Ukraine. On December 12, 2022, Senior Soldier Yevhen Veselovskyi arrived in the city of Kreminna, Luhansk region, for the evacuation of the wounded and came under intense artillery fire. Taking a favorable position, Senior Soldier Veselovskyi engaged in combat with the enemy. Thanks to the professional and skillful actions of the group, the enemy's attack was repelled. On December 14, 2022, in a forest belt near the village of Serebryanka, Donetsk region, Yevhen Veselovskyi, while conducting another evacuation, attempted to reach the wounded soldiers in a vehicle. At that moment, the enemy shelled the vehicle in which Yevhen was located with heavy equipment, resulting in the man sustaining multiple injuries incompatible with life. Yevhen Veselovskyi was buried on December 14, 2022, in the village of Knyazivka, Kherson region. For his personal courage and selflessness displayed in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, and for his diligent and impeccable service to the Ukrainian people, Senior Soldier Yevhen Volodymyrovych Veselovskyi was posthumously awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.
