- Paratrooper Yuriy Bocharov (call sign Krapka) was killed on August 30, 2022 in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Biloghirka in the Kherson region. The warrior was forever 41 years old. Yuriy was born and lived in Kyiv. After school, he obtained the profession of an economist at the Kyiv Academy of Municipal Management. He worked as a financial director. He was passionate about running, participating in marathons and half-marathons both in Ukraine and abroad. During the full-scale invasion, the man took up arms to defend his native home from the occupiers. He fought in the ranks of the 46th separate air assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a gunner. "A real, sensitive, honest, kind. Brother, I miss you... I love you forever," wrote the deceased's sister Natalia. "I remember Yura as the strongest in our class, he restrained his strength and used it wisely. He was one of the most handsome guys. Always friendly. War takes away the bravest! Unfortunately. I will remember him forever, thanks to people like Yura, many Ukrainians have a more or less peaceful life, remember this. Heroes never die, Glory to the Heroes!" wrote his classmate Yevhen Ustinov. The military was buried in the village of Sofiivska Borshchahivka, Kyiv region. At home, Yuriy was awaited by his father Anatoliy, wife Olha, daughter Alisa, son Tykhon, sister Natalia, and niece Dariya.
