      • Senior Sergeant Yuriy Bondarenko was killed on April 18, 2022, in Luhansk region—20 km from the place where he was born. Yuriy was born in Luhansk region in a miner's family. He graduated from a metallurgical college, after which he served in the army, and worked at the Zasyadko mine. He got married. Since 1995, he lived with his family in the village of Zhezheliv in Vinnytsia region, where he worked as a builder at an agricultural enterprise. In 2020, he went to defend his homeland. The hero is survived by his wife and two children.
