Yurii A. Klochko

Senior soldier Yurii Klochko died on April 27, 2023 in battle with the occupiers near the city of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region. The fighter received a fatal explosive injury. He was forever 25 years old. Yurii was born in the village of Kehychivka, Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Kharkiv State Automobile and Road College, where he obtained the profession of a mechanic. He worked at a private enterprise. He was engaged in sports and painting, was interested in computer integrated technologies. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native lands from the enemy. He served in the 93rd Separate Mechanized Brigade "Kholodnyi Yar". He held the position of a grenade launcher. He took part in battles for the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. "My little angel, who will always remain in my heart. My universe! My son was always loving, restrained, the brightest, the kindest, sincere. When you hug him, you feel such energy that you are ready to conquer Everest! Without him, life has lost its meaning... This is a ray of light that has turned into darkness," wrote the mother of the fallen. The defender was buried in his native village. Yurii is survived by his father Anatolii Vasylovych, mother Hanna Semenivna, grandmother Lidiia Pavlivna, sister Inna, other relatives, friends and comrades-in-arms.
