Yurii A. Koshovskyi (Hopnyk)

Yuriy Koshovskyi (call sign Gopnik), a soldier, was killed on December 7, 2022, in a battle with the occupiers near the village of Yampolivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 22 years old. Yuriy was born and lived in Lviv. He stuwas killed at the Ivan Puluj Lyceum. He then graduated from the Lviv Interregional Higher Vocational School of Automotive Transport and Construction. He worked as a senior manager in the "Bloods Vapes" store network. In his free time, he was passionate about shooting and airsoft. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, the man voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought against the occupiers in the ranks of the 125th separate brigade of the territorial defense. He took part in battles in the Donetsk region. "Yurko was the most sincere and open person. It was easy to communicate with him and find common topics for conversation. He was interested in history and everything related to shooting, he loved airsoft. In the very first days of the full-scale invasion, he went as a volunteer to the 125th brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces and defended his state in the Lyman direction," said the deceased's friend Oleh. The defender was buried in the Mars Field of the Lychakiv Cemetery in Lviv. Yuriy is survived by his parents, grandmother, grandfather, and sister.
