Doctors fought for his life for about a month, but the warrior's heart stopped. Yuriy was born in the village of Antonivka, Khmilnytskyi region. He graduated from the Dnipropetrovsk Technical School of Electrification of Agriculture. He then obtained a qualification as an electronics engineer. He worked at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant as an electronics engineer. Later, he held the position of electrician in Poland. He was cheerful. He loved to repair, solder, and carve wood. During the full-scale Russian invasion, Yuriy was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the grenade launcher platoon of the 60th Separate Mechanized Brigade. "My husband was cheerful, with a special sense of humor and loved life very much. He was a true patriot of Ukraine. He believed in Ukraine's victory. He believed that after the war, Ukraine would be rebuilt and our sons would live in a thriving and free country. For this, he gave his life," said the wife of the fallen Natalia.
