Biography
Yuriy Pecheritsya was born on May 13, 1978, in the town of Mashivka, Poltava region. He was the only son of his parents. After finishing high school, he entered the Komsomol Polytechnic College. In 2004, he enrolled in the Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine," which he graduated from in 2009, specializing in "Management of Foreign Economic Activity." From 2005 to 2010, he was a deputy of the Mashivka District Council—active, initiative-driven, and principled. In 2006, he moved permanently to Dnipropetrovsk and, together with a partner, founded a private enterprise for international freight transportation. In 2007, he married Inna Pecheritsya (Shcherbina), and in 2009, he became a father to a boy named Yaroslav. In 2010, Yuriy became the head of DAVAAP (Dnipropetrovsk Association of Freight Carriers). In life, Yuriy was a reliable and decent person, always ready to be the first to help, comfort, and support. On the other hand, he was a very cheerful and restless, life-loving man. In June 2014, he volunteered for the ATO, and during his time in the ATO zone, Yuriy had to fight in the hottest spots. He went through Debaltseve, Vuglegirsk, Luhanske, and Artemivsk. Risking his life, he saved his comrades, always fearlessly leading the way to victory. On the night of August 30 to 31, 2015, at 2:00 AM, while carrying out a combat mission, he was blown up by a mine near the city of Horlivka.Military service
