- Defender Yuriy Naidukh (call sign Lviv) was killed on July 13, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 39 years old. Yuriy was born in the city of Dobromyl in the Lviv region. He was a graduate of the Lviv State University of Civil Defense. He worked as a fire inspector. He adored his family. He loved fishing and mushroom picking. He independently studied foreign languages, was interested in IT, and was passionate about studying the history of Ukraine. Recently, he worked as a washing machine repair technician. He lived with his family in Kyiv. With the start of the full-scale war, the warrior served in the 241st separate brigade of the territorial defense. He held the position of a machine gunner in the 1st platoon, 1st squad. For his service, Yuriy was awarded the medal "For the Defense of Bakhmut" and the medal from the mayor of Kyiv, V. Klitschko, "For Wounds". "We are left without the best father, husband. This is the most fair, bravest, most generous, hardest-working and wisest person I have ever known. Yura was a faithful son of his Motherland. No one knew how to love it as he did. Always smiling, never complaining. He was always full of strength and energy. He had many dreams and plans. He loved life and Ukraine. We miss him very much," wrote the wife of the fallen Halyna. The defender was buried in the village of Novosilky in the Kyiv region. Yuriy is survived by his wife, parents, two daughters who were 14 and 12 years old at the time of his death, and a sister with a family.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
