Yurii I. Zatvornytskyi

Yuriy Ivanovych Zatvornytskyi was born on December 6, 1983, in the village of Pershotravneve, Zinkiv District, Poltava Oblast. He graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs with a degree in "Law," obtaining a bachelor's degree in law. From 2008 to 2015, he served in the internal affairs bodies, and from 2016 to 2019, he was in the National Police. From March to July 2020, he worked as a 6th category locksmith assembling metal structures in shop No. 1 of the Kyiv Mechanical Plant. Since August 2020, he has been an inspector in the automotive support department of the National Academy of Internal Affairs. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Yuriy stood up to defend Ukraine. The brave warrior fought for peace on Ukrainian soil, for tranquility in his native home, for the safety of his family… Yuriy Zatvornytskyi was killed on August 13, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission.
