Yurii M. Hryb

Yurii Mykolaiovych Hryb was born on June 17, 1975, in the village of Knyazha, Zvenyhorodskyi district of Cherkasy region. After graduating from Knyazhytska secondary school, he served his mandatory military service in the airborne troops. After completing his service, he began working in the internal affairs bodies at the Zvenyhorodskyi district department. He later held various positions in enterprises and organizations in the Cherkasy region. Since 2014, he actively participated in combat operations in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Senior sergeant, commander of a platoon of a separate airborne assault brigade. He was killed on February 25, 2022, during a Russian shelling in Kherson region. He was buried on December 20, 2022, in his native village.
