Yurii M. Kudlaiev

Soldier Yuriy Kudlayev (call sign Schumacher) died on July 28, 2024 while performing a combat mission near the village of Nevske in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 44 years old. Yuriy was born in the city of Vyshneve, Kyiv region. He graduated from school No. 4. Then he studied at vocational school No. 4, where he obtained the profession of an auto mechanic. In civilian life, he worked as a driver. He was fond of fishing. In March 2022, the man joined the ranks of volunteers and stood up to defend his native Kyiv region. He served in the grenade launcher section of the fire support platoon of the fire support company of the 114th separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "We are proud of his indomitability, strength of spirit and patriotism. We are proud of our brother and son! He gave the most precious thing that can be - his life. He gave his life for our peace, for peace and a free Ukraine," wrote his sister Anna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the cemetery in his native Vyshneve. Yuriy is survived by his mother, sister, brother and nephews.
