Yurii M. Misko

Born on May 10, 1988, in the city of Turka, Lviv region. For three years, he served under contract in the Chop Border Detachment of the Western Regional Directorate of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (military unit 1493, city of Chop, Transcarpathian region). On January 27, 2015, he was mobilized to the 79th Separate Air Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0224, city of Mykolaiv). Since 2015, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 20, 2015, Junior Sergeant Misko was killed as a result of a grenade explosion in the area of the village of Portivske in the Pervomaiskyi district (since 2016 - Mangush district) of Donetsk region. On July 23, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the city of Turka.
