Yurii M. Pukish

Born on May 6, 1987, in the village of Mostyshche, Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region. Graduated from the general education school of the village of Mostyshche, the Higher Vocational School No. 7 in the city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region, and the National University "Lviv Polytechnic" (city of Lviv). Worked at the Limited Liability Company "Sintra" (city of Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region). In the winter of 2013-2014, he was at Maidan Nezalezhnosti in Kyiv, where he was an active participant in the Revolution of Dignity. In the summer of 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a rifleman in the 128th Separate Mountain Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1778 (field post V4673), city of Mukacheve, Zakarpattia region). Since the fall of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. Participant in the battles for the city of Debaltseve in Donetsk region. On August 29, 2015, soldier Pukish died as a result of an explosion on a tripwire (according to other sources - due to careless handling of weapons) in the area of the village of Herasymivka, Stanytsia Luhanska district, Luhansk region. On September 2, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Mostyshche, Kalush district, Ivano-Frankivsk region.
