- 31-year-old intelligence officer Yuriy Rudchuk (call sign "Aggressor) was killed on March 31, 2023 in a car accident near the village of Vyshnevе in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He was traveling with a comrade to pick up a car for the front from a repair shop. The friend lost control and veered into the oncoming lane, where the car collided with a truck. Yuriy was born in the city of Kovel in the Volyn region. He obtained the profession of a lathe operator at the Kovel Vocational and Technical School No. 7. He was married and lived with his family in the village of Liubche in Volyn. He worked as a construction worker. He loved fishing and football. He was interested in landscape design and dreamed of creating a "paradise place" at home. He tried to devote as much free time as possible to his family. He adored spending time with his daughter. When the full-scale war began, the man was working in Poland. He could not remain on the sidelines and returned home. At first, he was engaged in volunteer activities, and in May 2022 he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training in Britain and Poland. Later, he served in the 36th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky, holding the position of an intelligence operator in the reconnaissance platoon. Since the end of October, he has been at the forefront with the unit. He was wounded, underwent treatment and returned to the front again. He fought in the Avdiivka direction. "In early spring, Yura was on leave. He left for service on March 28, and on the 31st he was killed in a car accident. In May, he was supposed to come home for the birth of his daughter. He dreamed of hanging the flag of the 36th brigade in the Donetsk airport. He always said that everything was fine with him, he never complained that it was difficult for him. He was an optimist, very sociable. We are very proud of our hero and we miss him very much. After all, it is people like him who should build our Ukraine," said the fighter's wife, Lidiya. The military man was buried in the village of Liubche in Volyn. Yuriy is survived by his father, brother, wife and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
