Yurii M. Yepur (Yurchyk)

Senior Seaman Yuriy Yepur was killedon February 4, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Pobeda in the Donetsk region. The defender was 32 years old. Yuriy was born in the village of Gvozdavka, Odesa region. He obtained the profession of energy supervision controller at the Kryvoozerske Professional Agrarian Lyceum. He served in the military. In 2010-2012, he served in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Then he obtained the profession of electric and gas welder and tractor-combine operator. He was passionate about mechanics, electronics and blacksmithing. He loved sports, especially volleyball. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend Ukraine. He served in the 35th separate marine brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyy. He held the position of a number in the howitzer self-propelled artillery battery. "Yuriy was a man of honor. Responsible, honest, wise, constantly striving for development, hardworking, always responsive to help, kind, sincere and cheerful. He was also the best father and husband in the world. A very bright person with golden hands and a golden heart. Now He has become an Angel for us," said the wife of the fallen. The defender was buried in the village of Nemyrivske, Odesa region, where he lived with his family. At home, Yuriy was awaited by his wife Kateryna and two daughters: Renata and Veronika.
