- Born on November 6, 1973, in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. In 1989, he graduated from the 8th grade of secondary school No. 31 in Kremenchuk. From the age of 16, he worked in a construction management. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After the army, he continued to work in the construction industry. Recently, he lived in the village of Kamburliivka, Onufriivskyi district, Kirovohrad region. On August 14, 2014, he was mobilized as a volunteer into the National Guard of Ukraine by the Kremenchuk Combined Military Commissariat of the Poltava region. He served as a senior driver-grenadier of the towing and supply section of the 2nd mortar platoon of the mortar battery of the 3rd operational brigade of the Eastern Operational-Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine (military unit 3017, city of Kharkiv). He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. During his service in the Luhansk region, the health of soldier Hudzhenko sharply deteriorated, and he began to experience back pain. Doctors diagnosed him with an unfortunate diagnosis - bone sarcoma. He underwent treatment at a hospital in Kharkiv, then was transferred to the Onufriivska district hospital in the Kirovohrad region. Doctors fought for the soldier's life, but their efforts proved futile. On April 20, 2015, soldier Hudzhenko died. On April 23, 2015, he was buried in the Sector of Fallen Heroes of the Anti-Terrorist Operation at the Svyshtovske Cemetery in the city of Kremenchuk.Book of Remembrance for Ukraine - Ukrainian memorial
