- 28-year-old scout Yurii Kryvoblotskyi (call sign Karas) was killed on September 6, 2022, near the village of Sukhy Stavok in the Kherson region. While carrying out a combat mission, he sustained fatal shrapnel wounds during enemy shelling. Yurii was born in the town of Kompaniivka in the Kirovohrad region. He stu at Kompaniivka Secondary School I–II degrees. He then graduated from Kompaniivka Vocational College of Veterinary Medicine of BNAU. He worked in his field at the agricultural production cooperative "Kolos." He loved nature and animals. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend his native country, joining the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 57th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after the Cossack Ataman Kosty Hordiienko. He was a senior scout of the reconnaissance platoon of the infantry battalion. "Yura lost his mother at an early age. The child lacked a mother's care; he didn't have many things that his peers had. He always sought comfort in our family. Living near his grandmother, he was her best helper and sole support. I will never forget his beautiful brown eyes, which often searched for kind words and advice from me. He reacted very warmly to the love shown to him. A kind and obedient boy, he was a good son, nephew, and grandson. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he stood up to defend our native Ukraine. Yurko, being a true soldier, a caring son, a devoted brother, and the best nephew, called home every evening. However, the conversations were not very wordy. He always said: 'Everything is fine, don't worry, there may be no connection,'” said the deceased's aunt Liliia Horlova. The defender was buried in his native village. Yurii is survived by his father, aunt, sister, and two daughters.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
