Yurii O. Yesypenko

Senior soldier Yurii Yesipenko was killed on June 3, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Novomykolaivka in the Mykolaiv region. As a result of enemy sniper fire, he received fatal gunshot wounds. On May 24, the defender turned 36 years old. Yurii Yesipenko was born in the village of Vyibli, Chernihiv region. He stuwas killed at Horbivska secondary school. Then he graduated from Kulykivske vocational school No. 30, where he received the profession of a car mechanic. In 2006, he was drafted into the military service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was married, lived with his family in Vinnytsia region. He worked as a mechanic. He was fond of fishing, often took children with him, whom he loved more than anything in the world. On March 9, 2022, the man was drafted into the military service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Initially, he was a driver of the department of the anti-aircraft artillery platoon of the anti-aircraft artillery battery of the anti-aircraft missile-artillery division of the military unit A1619. In May, he transferred to the Special Operations Forces unit and went to the front line. "Yurii was a very kind person, had many friends and acquaintances, always helped everyone and was an example for his brothers. He commanded respect from everyone who knew him. He was killed, but his image and his soul will forever remain with us. Eternal memory and glory to the Hero!", said the brother of the deceased Volodymyr. The military was buried in the village of Pliatsyna in Vinnytsia region. Yurii left behind his father, wife, two children and two younger brothers.
