- Soldier Yuriy Trokhymchuk (call sign Fizruk) was killed on August 14, 2023, during a mortar attack in the village of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. The warrior was forever 33 years old. Yuriy was born in the village of Bilovizh in the Rivne region, in a family of agricultural workers. After graduating from the Bilovizh Secondary School of I-III degrees, he entered the Faculty of Physical Culture and Sports of the International University of Economics and Humanities named after Academician S. Demyanchuk. He obtained the qualification of a physical education teacher. In civilian life, he worked as a physical education teacher at the Bilovizh Lyceum. He loved fishing and mushroom picking. Together with his wife, he raised two sons: the elder Ivan and the younger Artem. During the full-scale invasion, he joined the 117th Separate Mechanized Brigade to defend Ukraine. He held the position of grenade launcher assistant. "He was a jack-of-all-trades. He built a house and did the repairs there himself. He devoted ten years to the teaching profession in his native lyceum, but when he received the summons, he went to defend his home without hesitation," said his wife Raisa. "During his work at the school, Yuriy Petrovych proved himself as an experienced teacher, as well as a kind and sincere person. He never refused to help those in need," added the Rokytne village council. The defender was buried in his native village. At home, he was awaited by his mother, wife, and two sons. Posthumously, the warrior was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree. A memorial plaque in his honor was installed at the school where Yuriy worked.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
