Yurii S. Hadiatskyi (Kalyvan)

Soldier Yurii Hadiatskyy (call sign Kolyvan) was killed on March 20, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the Marinka area of Donetsk region. The hero was 31 years old. Yurii was born in the village of Savyntsi, Kharkiv region, and lived in the village of Dovhalіvka. In 2009-2011, he studied at the Petrivske Professional Agrarian Lyceum. He obtained three professions: instrument fitter and automation electrician, manual arc welder, and vehicle driver. In 2011, he began working at LLC "SKK AGRO" in Savyntsi, holding the positions of welder and miller. In 2019, he moved to the city of Pervomaisky in the Kharkiv region and got a job as a driver in a drinking and bottled water delivery company. From February 2020, he worked as a welder at a factory in Kharkiv. In 2021, the man signed a contract and joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 54th Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of gunner. He underwent basic general military training and obtained the qualification of a shooter. "My husband was a caring son for his mother, a loving husband for me, and a wonderful father for our little daughters, who, unfortunately, are left forever without their daddy..." said Olena Hadiats'ka. Yurii was buried in the village of Dovhalіvka, Kharkiv region. He is survived by his mother, wife, and two daughters. The military was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, III degree.
