Yurii S. Roliuk

Yurii Serhiiovych Roliuk was born on May 4, 1997, in the village of Ostrivok, Volodymyr-Volynskyi district, Volyn region. He studied at Volodymyr-Volynskyi Secondary School No. 2 and graduated from the Kruty Heroes Lyceum in Lviv. Later, he received military education at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi. On June 2, 2019, with the rank of lieutenant, he began military service in the 14th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Roman the Great and immediately went to the front, to Eastern Ukraine. In 2021, he was transferred for further service to the 28th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Knights of the Winter Campaign". During the military invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, he was in hot spots. He was killed on April 23, 2022, while performing a combat mission in the Kherson region. The farewell to the fallen took place in Volodymyr. The fallen was buried with full military honors in the cemetery in the village of Ponychiv, Zymnianska rural community, Volodymyr-Volynskyi district, Volyn region.
