Yurii S. Trebin (Tiubik)

Senior soldier Yuriy Trebin was killed on September 26, 2022, while carrying out a combat mission in the area of the village of Spyrne in Donetsk region. The defender was 44 years old. Yuriy was born in the settlement of Semenivka in Poltava region. He stu at the local school No. 1 and later obtained a profession as a gas boiler operator at the Poltava technical school. He worked in the boiler room of the Semenivka hospital, later at a service station, and then in construction in Kyiv. He loved to make things for his home with his own hands. From 2015 to 2018, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation. After the war, he went to work abroad. He was in Poland. When the full-scale war began, Yuriy immediately returned to Ukraine to defend it. He held the position of driver of a surface-to-air missile unit in one of the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Brave and fearless, bright and sincere, with a keen sense of justice, decent, straightforward, and honest, kind and beautiful, loving and attentive — this is how Yuriy is described by his family, friends, comrades, and all who knew him. "Yuriy Serhiyovych will forever remain in our memory as a defender of peace and freedom of our Homeland! We bow our heads before the feat of our compatriot. Eternal memory and honor to him!" — noted in the Semenivka village council. The serviceman was buried in his native Semenivka. Yuriy is survived by his parents and son.
