Yurii V. Anhelutsa

Yuriy Volodymyrovych Angeluca was born in the town of Onufrіyivka in Kirovohrad region. With the start of the war in Eastern Ukraine in 2014, he went to defend his homeland from the enemy. He went through the ATO and was awarded the President of Ukraine's distinction "For participation in the Anti-Terrorist Operation". After his service, Yuriy returned to his profession as a driver, working in automobile transportation. In February 2022, upon returning home on leave, he did not return to work, as with the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he went to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 1, 2022, he was already on the front lines. He held the position of driver in the 2nd Mortar Platoon of the 2nd Mortar Battery of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion. He was killed on April 9, 2022, while performing a combat mission (the location is not specified). He was buried on April 12, 2022, in his native town of Onufrіyivka, Oleksandriya district, Kirovohrad region.
