Yurii V. Bezshchotnyi

Born on August 4, 1977, in the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, in a family of workers. Graduated from 8 grades of Kupiansk Secondary School No. 12 in the town of Kivsharivka, Kupiansk City Council, then attended evening school in the city of Kupiansk. Worked as a rigger apprentice at the Kupiansk Foundry. From November 1995 to June 1997, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of commander of a motor vehicle section. After military service, he worked as a rigger for lifting cranes at the Kupiansk Foundry, then as a driver at the KP "Komservis" of the Kupiansk City Council. Since August 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of senior driver of the supply platoon of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From the end of August 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. At the end of August 2014, Sergeant Yuriy Bezshotny, as part of the tactical group of the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, participated in the attempt to unblock Ukrainian units in the city of Ilovaisk, Donetsk region. He was buried on June 23, 2015, at the cemetery in the village of Hlushkivka, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region.
