- Yurii Bulgaru (call sign Coyote), a fighter of the Territorial Defense Forces, was killed on February 17, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the Donetsk region. The life of the soldier was cut short by a bullet from an enemy sniper. The defender was 25 years old. Yurii was born and lived in Lviv. He studied at the Vynnyky Special Secondary Boarding School No. 9. In 2017, he obtained the qualifications of an electric and gas welder, as well as a car mechanic, at the Lviv Higher Vocational School of Design and Construction. He worked as a junior goods receiver in an ATB store. He got married and started a family, with whom he loved to spend his free time. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man stood up to defend his loved ones and Ukraine. Yurii joined the ranks of the 125th Separate Brigade of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training and, together with his comrades-in-arms, went to the frontline to defend the Motherland from the occupiers."Yurii was not only a son-in-law to me, but rather a son!" said the deceased's mother-in-law, Olha. The defender was buried in the Lychakiv Cemetery's Marson Field in Lviv. At home, Yurii was awaited by his parents, brother, wife, son, relatives, and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
