Yurii V. Kukuiev

Yuriy Volodymyrovych Kukuyev was born in 1976 in the village of Sudylkiv, Khmelnytskyi region. He studied at the local school. In his native village, he met his wife Tetiana, with whom he lived for 26 years. He began his military service on January 17, 2001. During this time, he went through a long military journey from a young soldier in the position of driver to the deputy head of the service — senior operator. Since 2014, he defended the borders of his homeland in the East of the country, returning home only during rotations. He set out on his eighth rotation to the combat zone, which became his last. He was killed on March 24, 2022, near the city of Izium in the Kharkiv region. He is survived by his mother, wife, and three children.
