Yurii V. Luchechko (Yuriets)

Luchechko Yuri Vasylovych was born on May 19, 1999, in the city of Sambir in the Lviv region. He lived in the village of Velykyi Liubin. For a long time, he was engaged in powerlifting and was a prizewinner in numerous competitions. He studied at the Lviv State University of Life Safety, majoring in Cybersecurity. Later, he worked at an IT company. In 2020, he went to serve in the Azov Regiment, in the fire unit "Second Hundred". From the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he exchanged the barbell for an automatic rifle and defended Ukraine from Russian occupiers. He served as a mortar man in the Azov Regiment unit. Together with his comrades-in-arms, he defended the city of Mariupol in the Donetsk region. He was killed on April 9, 2022, during a tank attack on the position where he was buried on April 14, 2022.
