    • Biography

      Yuriy Viktorovych Nizhensky was born on July 30, 1979, in the village of Berestovets, Uman District, Cherkasy Oblast. Since 2014, he actively participated in combat operations in the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. He held the position of chief of artillery — assistant commander of the 3rd battalion tactical group. He was killed on February 25, 2022, during fierce fighting in the city of Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Oblast.
