Biography
Osadchuk Yuriy Viktorovych was born on May 30, 1989 in Kamyanka-Buzka, Lviv region. His mother worked as a mathematics teacher, and his father was an engineer. Yuri easily coped with studies at school: both exact and humanitarian sciences. To learn a poem, it was enough for him to read it before the lesson. "I didn't even see when Yura studied. He always got everything easily: did it quickly and ran on!" adds Olga Osadchuk. In 2002, when Yuri was 13, he entered the physics and mathematics lyceum in Lviv, so his parents decided to move to the regional center, moreover, the older daughter was already studying there at the university. At first, they lived in a small one-room apartment. At the lyceum, Yuri really liked history, he even thought about continuing to study it. But after the 9th grade in 2004, he still entered the college in the specialty "Computer Systems and Networks". It was at the college that Yuriy met his future wife, they studied in parallel groups. In the 4th year, Ira started working part-time in the dean's office, and Yura came there for an internship. At the end of the 4th year, they started dating - they were 17-18 years old. Yuriy entered the "Lviv Polytechnic" in the specialty "Computer Engineering", at the same time he was already working in an IT company. Iryna, after college, realized that she wanted to do something else and entered the Academy of Printing. In three years, Yura proposed. The guy started working early. At the age of 17, he worked part-time on the football field - he helped lay the turf between matches. Then he went to Kyiv for the summer to a classmate who was studying at the KPI. They laid networks in the capital. He also asked his mother to introduce him to the school's system administrator, where she worked. He had other jobs that Yura began to help him with. Then he worked at the medical institute, and also worked a few days a week as an administrator at the museum. When in 2010 Yuriy entered the university, his older sister was already working at EPAM. As soon as there was a vacancy for a tester there, he decided to apply. Over six years at EPAM, Yuriy worked on two projects. He came to the first as a Middle Manual QA. At the second, he began to automate. Recently, he worked on one of the company's major projects for the virtual operator "Lebara". It was important for Yuriy to develop not only mentally, but also physically. In the 8th grade of school, he began to go to the Thai boxing club, and this became his first serious hobby. In 2013, Yuri's friend founded the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy and became the head coach there, and Yuriy was one of the first to join the academy and literally after a few months of training he went to the Ukrainian championship and won a medal. With the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, Yuriy went to the military registration and enlistment office. However, due to the lack of military experience, he was left in the territorial defense of Lviv. Already in April 2022, Yuri's unit was sent to the front. At first, the defenders came to the village of Paraskoviyivka, north of Bakhmut. The battalion settled in the school, but the fighters, trained by the bitter experience of other units that schools destroy first of all, slept in the field. There they were issued mortars. They learned quickly. Literally within a month or two, Yuriy was made a senior gunner and a senior soldier. Shortly after arriving, there was the first combat mission - to go between the settlements of Bilohorivka and Serebryanka and destroy the enemy's pontoon crossing. In that place, Yuriy and his comrades-in-arms spent three days, one of the fighters was wounded, they were extracted from there under fire. In the fall, Yuriy Tkachuk was given a vacation - he spent 10 days in Lviv with his family and friends. Returning from vacation, he was to become the deputy commander. He died on October 15, 2022 as a result of the explosion of a vehicle in which he was traveling on an explosive device during a reconnaissance of the area.Burial place
