Yurii V. Titorov

Soldier Yuriy Titorov was killed on March 28, 2024, while carrying out a combat mission on the southeastern outskirts of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. During enemy artillery shelling, he sustained injuries incompatible with life. Yuriy was 41 years old. He was born in the village of Shylovychi, where he went to the 1st grade in 1989. After a year, he transferred to the Vyshnyva comprehensive school of grades I-III, and after finishing the 9th grade, his family moved to the village of Svarichivka. He obtained his specialized education at SPTU No. 37, mastering the profession of agricultural tractor driver. Yuriy started his work early, as he grew up in a large family. Until 2006, he worked as a tractor driver at FOP "Porodko". Then he moved to the city of Ichnia, where he got married. For four years, he worked as a tractor driver at the agricultural enterprise "Zhadkivske". After the divorce, he returned to Svarichivka. On March 28, 2023, Yuriy was called up for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of gunner of the combat vehicle of the 2nd tank platoon of the 1st tank company of the tank battalion of the 57th separate motorized infantry brigade named after the Koshovy Otaman Kost Hordiienko. "Yuriy was kind, sensitive, sincere, and decent. He always came to help. He had a talent for repairing equipment. He was always responsible at work," they said about him in the Ichnia community. On April 5, the community said goodbye to the defender in Ichnia. Yuriy was buried in the village of Svarichivka. At home, the defender was awaited by his parents, two sisters, and a brother.
