Yurii V. Yatsenko

Born on May 19, 1981, in the city of Kremenchuk, Poltava region. Graduated from general education school No. 27 in Kremenchuk. Worked as a bath attendant. Served under contract as a senior gunner in the 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V0425 - cities of Sumy, Konotop, Hlukhiv in the Sumy region). Participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 12, 2016, around 11:00 PM, soldier Yatsenko was killed while repelling another attempt by the enemy's sabotage and reconnaissance group to break through in the industrial zone of the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region. On July 15, 2016, he was buried in the Sector of Fallen Heroes of the Anti-Terrorist Operation at the Svyshtov Cemetery in Kremenchuk.
