Yurii Yu. Lysenko (Karas)

Yuriy Yuriyovych Lysenko was born on May 20, 1988, in the village of Vasylyky in Poltava Oblast. He studied at a local school. In 2007, he graduated from the Chervonozavodsk Technological College of the Poltava State Agrarian Academy. He worked at various enterprises but decided to dedicate himself to the defense of Ukraine and enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. Initially, he signed a 3-year contract, which he extended in April 2021. He was killed on March 2, 2022, in combat during the defense of Lysychansk in the Luhansk region. He was buried on March 4, 2022, at the cemetery in the village of Vasylyky in Poltava Oblast.
