Антон Юрійович. Однокоз (Ліпший)

Senior Sergeant Anton Odnokoz (call sign Lipshyi) was killed on June 8, 2024 near the Kozatskyi Island in the Kherson region. The warrior sustained fatal injuries during enemy shelling of the positions. He was to get married in a month but did not have the chance. The defender was forever 30 years old. Anton was born in Horishni Plavni in the Poltava region. After graduating from secondary school No. 5, he obtained an education at the Polytechnic College. From childhood, he was passionate about sports and loved to sing. He worked as a rescuer in the rescue service of the Poltava Mining and Processing Plant. After the start of the full-scale war, he went to defend the country in the ranks of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Initially, he held the position of a grenadier, and later became a combat medic in the reconnaissance platoon of the reconnaissance company. During his lifetime, the soldier was awarded the "Veteran of War" medal, and posthumously - the Order of Courage of the III degree. "I miss him very much. He was a real man. He never hid, he stood to the end. Any problem was solved instantly with him," wrote the mother of the fallen Olena Mykolaivna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory in his hometown. Anton is survived by his parents and sister.
