Ігор Миколайович. Кістерний

Born on March 21, 1987, in the city of Semenivka, Chernihiv region. In 2004, he graduated from Semenivka Gymnasium No. 2 in the city of Semenivka. From 2005 to 2006, he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under conscription. From 2006 to 2016, he served under contract in the border service department "Semenivka" of the Chernihiv border detachment of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (military unit 2253, city of Semenivka, Chernihiv region). He was passionate about football and played for the football team "Revna" (city of Semenivka). Since 2016, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as the commander of a grenade launcher platoon in the fire support company of the 13th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Operational Command "North" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A4427 (field post V2278), urban-type settlement Voronizh, Shostka district, Sumy region). Since May 2017, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 14, 2017, at 22:55, Senior Sergeant Kisterny was killed near the urban-type settlement Novotoshkivske in the Popasna district of Luhansk region by a bullet from an enemy sniper that hit him in the heart. On July 18, 2017, he was buried at the Monakhove cemetery in the city of Semenivka, Chernihiv region.
