Іван Анатолійович. Марков (Рязанець)

Born on May 31, 1993, in the city of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi). After some time, the family moved to the village of Mariivka in the Kompaniivka district of Kirovograd region. In 2010, he graduated from the general education school in the village of Mariivka, Kompaniivka district. In 2010-2011, he studied at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Geography of Kirovograd State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko (now Central Ukrainian State Pedagogical University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko, city of Kropyvnytskyi). Since 2011, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent military training in the 50th Separate Training Company of Special Training of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0759, city of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi)). He continued his service in the 3rd Separate Special Purpose Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0680, city of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi)). Since the spring of 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On July 15, 2014, Senior Soldier Markov was killed during a mortar shelling near the village of Provallya in Sverdlovsk district (since 2016 - Dovzhanskyi) of Luhansk region. Along with him, Colonel Kovalenko, Senior Sergeant Alekseev, Junior Sergeant Karavaisky, Senior Soldier Benderov, Senior Soldier Maiseev, Senior Soldier Ryabyi, and Senior Soldier Verbovyi were killed. On August 18, 2014, he was buried at the Alley of Glory in the Roven cemetery of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi). On June 18, 2015, in the village of Mariivka, Kompaniivka district, a memorial plaque was unveiled on the facade of the general education school (1 Prohres Street), where Ivan Markov studied. On February 23, 2016, by the decision of the Kirovograd City Council, the street of September 3 in the city of Kirovograd (now Kropyvnytskyi) was renamed Ivan Markov Street.
