- Alexander Dembytskyi was killed on June 30, 2023 in battle near the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. While carrying out a combat mission, Ukrainian troops came under enemy mortar fire. Several soldiers were injured, including Alexander. His comrades could not immediately reach the necessary position for evacuation, so it eventually took the forces of an entire platoon. Some of the wounded walked on their own, while Alexander and a few others were carried very slowly, as the shelling did not subside. He was still talking, made his last drag. However, the injuries were incompatible with life, and Alexander did not reach the evacuation point. On June 12, the warrior turned 30 years old. Alexander was born in the village of Raiky, Zhytomyr region. He lived in Berdychiv. He graduated from Berdychiv Vocational School No. 4, where he obtained the profession of a welder. He worked in furniture production. The last two years he was a driver for the logistics company "Business Group". During the full-scale war, in January 2023, the man joined the ranks of the defenders of Ukraine. He became a serviceman of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade. He held the position of driver and was always at the forefront with his comrades. Alexander, although he officially held the position of driver, recently performed the duties of a squad commander. He was always a calm and prudent warrior, never argued and did not retreat from difficulties, carefully listened to the instructions of the commanders and did not refuse to perform the most difficult tasks, as his wife Alina said. He was an extremely hardworking person. Any work was in his hands, any business was within his reach. Sincere, friendly, cheerful - this is how everyone who knew him characterizes the man. He was also extremely fair and principled, so he could not remain on the sidelines when the Russian Federation launched a full-scale war against Ukraine, as added in the Berdychiv City Council. The defender was buried in Berdychiv. Alexander left behind a mother, wife, son and daughter. At the time of his father's death, the children were 5 and 3 years old, respectively.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
