Soldier Oleksandr Dovhoshei (call sign Prince) was killed on January 27, 2023 near the village of Dmytrenkа in the Kherson region. While carrying out a combat mission, he drove over an unknown explosive device. The warrior was 41 years old. Oleksandr was born in the village of Velyka Mykhailivka in the Odesa region. He obtained a secondary vocational education at the Tsebrikiv Vocational School. Recently, he worked as a driver-electrician in the operational and emergency brigade of the Velykomykhailivskyi REM at DTEK "Odesa Electrical Networks". During the full-scale war, he defended the Motherland in the ranks of the 181st battalion of the 122nd separate brigade of the territorial defense. "He was fair, kind, sensitive, honest. The best father, a loving husband, an attentive son and brother. He always came to the aid of relatives and acquaintances, loved to fish, and grow grain crops. In the first days of the full-scale invasion, he enlisted in the territorial defense, took part in battles in the Kherson region, and was killed there - near the village of Dmytrenkа. I can write a lot about my dear, beloved, best husband, the father of our children. For us, he was the best," said his wife Tetiana. The defender was buried in his native village. Oleksandr is survived by his wife, son, daughter, mother and four sisters. Oleksandr Dovhoshei was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
