Олексій Володимирович. Оріхівський (Орєх)

Born on June 8, 1982, in the village of Zaliznychne, Poltava district, Poltava region. Two years later, the family moved to the village of Kamyanka, Trostyanets district, Sumy region. In 1999, he graduated from the general education school in the village of Kamyanka, Trostyanets district, and then from vocational school No. 25 (now the State Educational Institution "Okhtyrka Professional Lyceum" educational unit No. 2) in the city of Trostyanets. From August 2014 to September 2015, he served in the military under partial mobilization as the commander of a sapper platoon of the 91st Separate Operational Support Regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0563, city of Okhtyrka, Sumy region). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. From October 2015, he served under contract in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. From October to December 12, 2015, he underwent training at the 184th Training Center of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A2615, village of Starychi, Yavoriv district, Lviv region). Since December 12, 2015, he was the commander of a machine gun platoon in the fire support company of the 2nd Airborne Battalion of the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade of the Air Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1126, urban-type settlement of Hvardiyiske, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). On December 21, 2017, Junior Sergeant Orihivskyi died from wounds received while performing a combat mission near the village of Kamyanka, Yasynuvata district, Donetsk region. On December 23, 2017, he was buried at the Alley of Heroes in the Central Cemetery of the city of Trostyanets, Sumy region.
