Руслан Михайлович. Дрич

Soldier Ruslan Drych (call sign Dryn) was killed on November 16, 2022 near the settlement of Novosilske in the Luhansk region while trying to withdraw his group from encirclement. The defender is now forever 33 years old. Ruslan was born in the village of Shelestove in the Kharkiv region. He graduated from the Kharkiv Automobile and Road Professional College with a degree in "Law". In civilian life, he worked as a manager at the "Avtorаy" car service station in Kharkiv. He adored nature, fishing, hunting, gardening, as well as the culture and history of Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale war, on February 25, 2022, the man went to defend his native lands from the Russian invaders. He served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade, holding the position of rifleman - grenade launcher assistant. He took part in combat operations in the Kharkiv and Luhansk directions. "He was a true patriot all his life. He went as a volunteer to defend the Motherland, without military education, training, or serving in the army. He was an extraordinarily kind, sensitive, cordial and open man, a father, a son and a friend. He had many loved ones who loved and respected him for his optimism and willingness to always help," said the defender's wife Viktoria. The warrior was buried in the village of Bilousove in the Kharkiv region. He is survived by his parents, brother, wife and son. Ruslan Drych was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
