Сергій Михайлович. Цімбота

Born on November 5, 1985, in the village of Synevyr, Mizhhiria district, Zakarpattia region. In 2002, he graduated from the general education school of the village of Synevyr. $He served for two years under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. $He lived with his family in the city of Dnipropetrovsk (now Dnipro). $Mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a rifleman-sapper in the 2nd section of the 3rd platoon of the 1st company of the 1st mechanized battalion of the 93rd separate guards mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A1302 (field post V2830), the urban-type settlement of Cherkaské, Novomoskovsk district, Dnipropetrovsk region). $He participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. $On July 17, 2015, the checkpoint "Shakhta" near the city of Avdiivka, Donetsk region, where soldier Tsimbota served, was shelled by Russian militants with mortars. One of the shells hit the dugout where the serviceman was located. As a result of the explosion, the ceiling of the dugout collapsed. Soldier Tsimbota died under the rubble, sustaining injuries incompatible with life. $On July 23, 2015, he was buried in the cemetery of the village of Synevyr, Mizhhiria district, Zakarpattia region.
