Сергій Олександрович. Стрібний (Ікси)

The serviceman Serhiy Stribnyi (call sign Iksy) was killed in action on March 25, 2022, in the village of Vilkhivka, Kharkiv region. The defender came under mortar fire during the liberation of this settlement from Russian occupiers. Serhiy was 26 years old. He was born in Perevalsk, Luhansk region, and graduated from Alchevsk Industrial Technical School. He had been living in Kharkiv since 2014. He was engaged in sports, particularly knife fighting, and adhered to a healthy lifestyle. He was interested in the ancient tradition of Rus-Ukraine and Northern Europe. In the Kharkiv branch of "National Druzhyny," together with his comrades, he organized an internal section for studying the Italian style of knife fighting. In 2019, based on this section, the organization "Nord Storm" was formed. In 2019, he voluntarily participated in battles for the Avdiivka industrial zone. A year later, he became the deputy head of the Kharkiv branch of the nationalist organization "Centuria." With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, he again took up the defense of Ukraine. He fought as part of the special unit "Kraken." He participated in the defense of Kharkiv region. "I tried to raise my son to be a responsible person. I maintained contact with him until the end. I am very grateful to his friends who did everything to ensure that my son's body was buried with dignity," wrote his mother, Iryna. Serhiy was buried in Kharkiv. He is survived by his mother. Posthumously awarded the distinction of the Main Intelligence Directorate "For Military Service."
